Raazi is directed by Meghna Gulzar who won a lot of praises for her last directorial Talvar . She has co-written the film with Bhavani Iyer . The movie is set in 1971, before the Indo-Pak war and stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role. Bhatt plays a Kashmiri woman called Sehmat who has been recruited by Indian Intelligence Agency RAW to glean information about Pakistan’s war strategy.
