It is indeed one of the most anticipated films of the year! Sanjay Dutt will be starting his next innings with this movie, and as per initial impression of the trailer, the hype and curiosity were totally worth it. The film Bhoomi was in news for its intriguing first poster which garnered everyone’s expectation to be a dark-shaded drama and a career defining performance by Sanjay Dutt ! So finally, the makers for Sanjay Dutt ’s comeback movie released its first theatrical trailer of Bhoomi , also starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Sharad Kelkar ! And here it is!

Though everyone got a hint that it will be a heart-wrenching drama, it is turning out to be more than what was predicted. Bhoomi is the story of father and daughter, who are their world to each other, living their lives peacefully and being happy. Bhoomi’s love for her father was unconditional and cute, as she knows, despite being a drunkard he is a noble man. But their perfect happy world is marred by a local goon played by Sharad Kelkar and the film takes us through the struggle this father and daughter had to go through in order to retain their normal life.

The trailer gives a good glimpse of how gritty the film is going to be with its fast paced editing and subliminal shots of a daunting chase, abduction, and Bhoomi drowning in the water, all set a haunting tone to the trailer. It is clear that director Omung Kumar went with an intense, dark and gritty tone of storytelling and every pivotal character and their performance will blow the audience’s mind. There is no doubt why Sanjay Dutt chose Bhoomi to be his comeback film as he clearly rules every frame he is in.

The film Bhoomi is also co-produced by Omung Kumar in association with T-Series. And the other cast members including Sidhant Gupta , Shekhar Suman , Vibha Chibber . The film is set to be released on September 22nd in the theatre near you.
