Dusky beauty Chitrangada Singh and Blockbuster specialist Karan Johar will host the Technical Awards and the Fashion ball on 5th April 2013 for TOIFA (Times Of India Film Awards). The first ever TOIFA award function will be held in Vancouver. The duo is very excited to host the award show which will felicitate the hard working men behind the camera.

Karan Johar , who has delivered box office hits in 2012 like ' Student Of The Year ' and ' Agneepath ' says that he is very excited to get a chance to host such a prestigious awards. He is even more excited to host the Technical awards which will be held in TOIFA. The filmmaker says that being a producer and director he has seen and experienced the hard work of men behind the camera. According to him, no film can achieve success without the hard work of the technical team which works hard till late nights to make the film perfect. He says that we should applaud for these unsung heroes. It is a good opportunity to thank these men behind the camera for their hard work and sincerity. At TOIFA Technical awards, these Technical persons will be applauded by thousands of international fans at Vancouver, British Columbia.

On the other hand, the dusky beauty , ' I, Me Aur Main ' star Chitrangada Singh says that because of these technical artists like VFX specialists, sound engineers, editors and other specialists, the actors look so good in screen. She also expresses that she is looking forward to host the Technical award show which will honor the hard work of these technical persons. According to her, the technical team is a backbone of the film industry.
