Superstar Salman Khan’s next biggie Tiger Zinda Hai has one week to go before it arrives in cinemas on 22nd December and topples one box office record after the other. The buzz around the movie is humongous and if trade sources are to be believed, the Yash Raj Films’ venture has solid chances to emerge as the biggest Hindi blockbuster of 2017, leaving behind the likes of Golmaal Again and Judwaa 2. The good news is that if all goes well, the makers might come up with the next installment of the series. These are not ours but superstar Salman Khan’s words.
Salman KhanWhile promoting Tiger Zinda Hai, Dabangg Khan hinted at the third part of the ‘Tiger’ franchise. Also starring Katrina Kaif in the lead role, Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger which is still among one of the highest grossing films of Salman and Katrina’s careers. Talking at an event, Khan said, “If Ali (Abbas Zafar) or Kabir (Khan) decide, then maybe next year we will (Salman and Katrina will) be back.”
For the uninitiated, Ek Tha Tiger was helmed by Kabir Khan, while the directorial baton was passed onto Ali Abbas Zafar for its sequel. Both films are Yash Raj Films’ ventures.
