Actress Vidya Balan is soon coming on the big screens as a bubbly housewife named Sulochna who is carefree, mischievous and also confident! Sulochna who is fondly known as Sulu becomes a late-night RJ and even succeeds at her job. The film has been directed by Suresh Triveni . In a media statement, he spoke about the film and said, "Middle-class housewives have been portrayed as hassled and troubled in Hindi films, but I'm a huge Hrishikesh Mukherjee fan and he showed that even middle-class families can be happy. I want the audience to walk out with a big smile on their face."

In the upcoming slice-of-life comedy-drama Manav Kaul plays Vidya’s husband and has a key role as seen in the trailer. Actress Neha Dhupia also has an important role as she plays Vidya’s boss.
