Chote Nawab Saif Ali Khan is one of the busiest actors in tinsel town these days. The actor, who was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, has a string of films in his hand and hence he is finding it hard to manage his time. So, when any filmmaker approaches the actor for a new film now, Saif has no option but to decline the offer until the subject is really extraordinary.

Recently, speculations were rife that Saif Ali Khan was approached by the Talaash director Reema Kagti for a film. Titled Mr. Chalu, the film was said to be a thriller. But due to some reasons, the actor turned down the offer. The news of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan being approached by the makers after Saif's rejection also made to the headlines, but no official announcement was ever made.

But now, for the first time, Saif has opened up about not doing the film. Talking to a daily, the actor said, "Mr Chalu just didn’t work out. Sometimes it’s money, sometimes dates, sometimes something else. I feel it’s not decent to discuss the private and financial dealings with a producer in public. I loved that script and would have loved to do it!”

Does that mean that Saif didn't do the film because of money or dates? What do you think, readers? Do tell us.

Meanwhile, Reema Kagti is currently busy shooting for her next directorial Gold with Akshay Kumar in London. Saif is also busy with his next films Chef and Kaalakaandi, which are due to release this year.
