The social-drama film ‘Pad Man’ to release in Russia on the same day as India!

It’s a double celebration for the entire team of ‘Pad Man’. Akshay Kumar and the whole team are putting their best in promoting the film. Where the heavy promotions seem working in favour of Akki and ‘Pad Man’, their competitor, ‘Aiyaary’ has also moved ahead but there’s an exciting piece of news that will surely multiply the celebrations for the film. Now Khiladi Kumar’s ‘Pad Man’ will not only have its release in India but it will also hit the Russian theatres on the same day. You read it all correct. Kumar took to Twitter to reveal the big news, he tweeted, “Happy to share, our film #PadMan becomes the first Bollywood film to be released in Russia on the same day and date. So Russia, see you at the movies on 9th February 2018! @padmanthefilm @SonyPicsIndia @radhika_apte @mrsfunnybones @SonyPicsIndia @kriarj #RBalki”

For the uninitiated, ‘Pad Man’ is a real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented the low-cost sanitary napkins for the women of his rural village. His story has penned down in a novel by Akshay’s wife, Twinkle Khanna and the same has been taken to the silver screen by the ace director, R Balki. The real story will be narrated by Amitabh Bachchan and it also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor.
