In February, the makers of The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir revealed the extended teaser of the film and now, they have dropped the official trailer. Yes; that’s right! The official trailer of our very own Dhanush ’s first international film is finally here and it looks truly extraordinary. The trailer shows a mischievous turn of fate sends Ajatashatru (Dhanush), a fakir from New Delhi, to France. He immediately falls in love with a Parisienne. Accidentally expelled from the country in the company of African stowaways then lugged around Europe, the magician must do the impossible to find the one who has won his heart.

The movie is directed by Canadian filmmaker Ken Scott and he is overwhelmed after working with Dhanush. Expressing his happiness working with the Indian actor he spoke with Variety and said, “What’s great is I get to work with a great actor, Dhanush , who is a huge star in India, he’s a great actor, but also a great dancer, a great singer, he has a unique way of dancing and moving, he’s just very charming.”

The film also stars Erin Moriarty, Berenice Bejo, Barkhad Abdi, and Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse in pivotal roles. It has been shot across India, Brussels, Paris, Rome and many other parts of the world.

Scheduled to hit the theatres on 30th May, the film will be released in English and French.
