The shooting of ‘ Fanney Khan ’ began a few days back on the busy streets of Colaba, Mumbai and paparazzi could not keep their eyes off from it. An important scene from the first schedule starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor was being shot in Colaba and a still just got leaked from the set. Anil was seen as a taxi driver while Aishwarya was seen in the back seat. Here’s the first sneak peek of the film.

The other set of reports related to the film say that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shot for about 12 hours straight along with her co-star Anil Kapoor starting from early morning 7 AM. Talking about it, a source stated to the tabloid, "They shot in Colaba. Aishwarya wore a black pantsuit with a grey and white long coat. Her first shot was with her manager (played by a character actor), in which she is seen arguing with him. She shot with Anil in the evening. It was a fun scene. Off the set, it was an emotional reunion for Anil and Ash, who are working together after many years. They reminisced about the old times."

Yesterday, an unfortunate accident took place on the sets of the film which saw one of the assistant directors getting injured as a motorcycle rider crashed into her. While this accident happened, Aishwarya was on the sets, shooting.

An official statement by one of the producers of the movie, Prernaa Arora has come out which reads as, "In an unfortunate accident yesterday, one of the assistant directors of our film - Fanney Khan suffered some injuries during the shoot in Mumbai when a motorcycle rider crashed into her. She was immediately given first aid and taken to the hospital for further treatment. She is completely fine now and will soon join the crew for the shoot. The police are dealing with the errant motorcyclist as per the due process of law."

Apart from Aishwarya and Anil, the film also stars Rajkummar Rao in a pivotal role.
