    Teaser Out: Akshay Kumar looks all set to strike gold with his next movie 'Gold'!

    Gold will be Akshay Kumar's third release for 2018, after Pad Man and 2.0.

    Akshay Kumar 's first release of the year, Pad Man , is yet to hit the silver screen, but the superstar has started whetting our curiosity around his next film Gold months in advance. The teaser of his hotly anticipated film hit the internet a moment ago and it looks like Khiladi Kumar is all set to strike gold with his film. Filled with patriotism and sportsmanship, the period film is expected to turn out to be what we wanted for Independence Day this year. Have a look at the mesmerizing teaser.

    Directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar for Excel Entertainment, Gold is inspired by the true incidents of India clenching the Olympic gold medal in hockey as a free nation in 1948. In the trailer, we can see Akshay Kumar 's character going to any length to help independent India win the coveted medal in the Olympic.

    Besides Akshay Kumar , the film also stars Kunal Kapoor , Amit Sadh and Mouni Roy .

    Gold is coming in theatres on 15th August 2018.
