Lead pair of rom-com hit ' Tanu Weds Manu ', R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut are all geared up to bring the second edition of the film with director Aanand L Rai .

The story of an NRI guy Madhavan willing to marry an over fiesty girl Kangana Ranaut from Uttar Pradesh. But Kangana who has not so good opinion about arrange marriages denies the proposal and wills to settle down with the love of her life, Jimmy Shergill . Later she fells for not so talkative, polite Madhavan and ties the knot with him going against all odds; this is what dropped a curtain to the first part. Now, really the audiences are looking forward to see what Rai is about to serve them.

No sooner there was also rumors of casting Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma for this edition of the film to which the director Aanand L Rai denied and confirmed about maintaining the original duo for the next by stating that, "There is a sequel, it's in the system...the plan is still on. I don't know when it will go on floors. If its happening it will happen with same star cast -- Madhavan and Kangana will go ahead with the franchise.
