    Tamannaah Bhatia to feature in 'Aashiqui 2' remake

    The Southern sensation Tamannaah Bhatia will star in 'Aashiqui 2' remake. She will reprise the role played by Shraddha Kapoor in the original.

    The Southern actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently featured in Ajay Devgn starrer ' Himmatwala ', which failed to please the box office. And now, Tamannaah is all set to star in her next, ' Aashiqui 2 ' remake, reportedly.

    Tamannaah will be portraying the role essayed by Shraddha Kapoor in the original, as per the reports. Although she will be playing the female lead, the actor Sachiin Joshi is sceptical about it, as the role needs to be played by a fresh face and Tamannaah is a star down South. Joshi revealed that "Like Shraddha, we need a relatively fresh face. Tamannaah is a huge sensation in the Southern film industry and I'm worried that her stardom may work against the role," Joshi said that the music of the film will be similar to the original, however the movie will have a different climax with a happy ending.
