' Table No. 21 ' was the thriller in which Paresh Rawal essayed an entirely different role and preferred to entertain viewers in new way rather than tickling their funny bone. The movie starred Rajeev Khandelwal and Tena Desae in lead role and the actors bagged praises for their performance in the film. ' Table No. 21 ' talked about a young couple, who get caught in a strange and dangerous game for which there is no turning back.

Viki Rajani , who produced ' Table No. 21 ' attested the news by saying that the talks are going on and an idea has been come up to make a sequel. Although the concept will be based on a game again, it will narrate an altogether different story than the earlier, added the producer. Rajani also stated that the sequel won't see Rajeev Khandelwal and Tena Desae , but the veteran star Paresh Rawal will continue to retain his role in the second installment.
