Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu impressed one and all with her stellar performances in movies. Her performance in Pink was widely appreciated and she became the voice of liberated Indian women. The actress has now launched a Sexual Harassment Helpline for working women so as to provide the right help and guidance.

The news claims that the initiative is held by 'Event and Entertainment Management Association'. Several professional counsellors have been brought on board for this project. All the calls would be redirected to the helpline number (01149694998). These calls will be answered by trained executives and then they will be further redirected to counsellors. Regional level redressal committees have also been set up.

In a media interaction, Taapsee said that this initiative will be very helpful for women. She said, "It is a profound initiative for all working women, especially in the events, entertainment and media industry. It's not just a step towards making the working environment safe for women, but also in making the world a better place."
