It is a known fact that actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be next seen in the biopic of Ace Cricket Captain M.S. Dhoni. The film is yet to release and the actor has already signed another biopic. Yes, it is now confirm that Sushant will be seen essaying the role of Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar in the upcoming film presented by Shekhar Kapoor.
Script writer Prashant Singh revealed this news to a leading daily. He stated that, "It was amazing to have Sushant come on board immediately." He added that even Petkar was delighted to know the casting. "Even though other actors and filmmakers were keen to acquire the rights to Murli sir's journey, he zeroed in on Sushant since he confessed to being a fan of the actor."
Prashant further added that, the film will touch upon incidents in the army man-turned-sportsman Murlikant’s life that range from his road trip to Kashmir to being shot by seven bullets in the 1965 war against Pakistan. In fact, a bullet is still in his spine! Left a paraplegic, young Petkar tried to commit suicide, but survived that too and finally won the Paralympic gold.
