Sushant Singh Rajput to be trained as a spaceman in NASA for Chandamama Door Ke!

We often hear stories of actors who take up method acting approach to prepare for a specific role and sometimes they take it to an extreme! And this time actor Sushant Singh Rajput took the efforts to perfect the role of his upcoming film, Chanda Mama Door Ke, where he’ll be training in NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) to prepare for Bollywood’s first space drama, as touted! This film will be produced by Viki Rajani and directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and this particular training programme will last for 3 days! Such a dedication!

In case you are excited, this training program includes use of spacesuit, practicing the moonwalk (not the one used in dancing, obviously), experiencing zero gravity, docking the shuttle to the International Space Station, flying a space shuttle simulator and training in other simulation programmes and so on! The director himself praised Sushant for his dedication, as shooting for a space science fiction is already tough and Sushant’s enthusiasm will make it easier to pursue the film as director desired.

The space training program will last from 21 to 24th July, he’ll join in after attending IIFA in New York City! Besides Sushant Singh Rajput, the cast will also include R. Madhavan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui on the board and search for the leading lady is still on and many names being tossed around! The film is expected to be released next year, around second half! It would definitely be interesting to see Bollywood trying such new topics!
