Young and Dynamic Sushant Singh Rajput credits all his success to soap queen Ekta Kapoor as it was Ekta who discovered Sushant's potential and gave him a chance in her serial 'Pavitra Rishta'. Sushant is so grateful to Ekta that he says that he will do Ekta's films even without reading the script. He believes in her very much.

Sushant began his career with Ekta's serial 'Kis Desh Me Hai Mera Dil'. According to Sushant, when he was busy in doing theatre, Ekta recognized Sushant's potential and gave him a chance to work with her. He says that people recognize him today because of Ekta's serials. Sushant also said that Ekta is the only producer with which he will do a film at any point of time without reading the script.

Sushant left 'Pavitra Rishta' in 2011 to learn film making abroad. He was recently seen and appreciated for his role in the recently released film ' Kai Po Che '. ' Kai Po Che ' was directed by Ekta's cousin Abhishek Kapoor .
