Deol family's home production , a comic drama ' Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 ' has received a contribution from whole Deol family. Not only Sunny, Bobby and Dharmendra has featured in the film, but also Sunny's wife and son also took part in the making of the film.

According to the reports, Sunny Deol 's wife Linda has contributed to the script of the film by suggesting a very strong subject to the writing department of the film. While, Sunny's son Karan played a role of the assistant director of the film. Legendary actor Dharmendra told media that his daughter in law , Linda has contributed to the story idea of the film on which the writing department took efforts. Dharmendra also said that his grandson Karan is currently learning the art of filmmaking and assisted the director Sangeeth Sivan in the film. The film is produced by Dharmendra .

One of the main leads of the film, Sunny Deol said that Karan is still young and learning about films. He is enjoying the experience and will join the industry when he feels ready and confident, probably next year. The source said that , Karan has written and sung a few lines of a song in the film.

' Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 ' is a sequel to ' Yamla Pagla Deewana ' a hit comedy drama directed by Samir Karnik released in 2011.
