After delivering a blockbuster at the box office, ' Kahaani ' filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh has planned to remake his film in different languages. Tamil, Telugu and English versions of ' Kahaani ' are already in the pipeline. At the same time, Sujoy is also planning to make the ' Kahaani ' sequel.

Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Ghosh, the producers of ' Kahaani ' had to convince the co-producer Jayantilal Gada that the remakes of the film would not adversely affect ' Kahaani 2 '. After being convinced, Gadha agreed for the sequel.

Sujoy Ghosh has already started his work on the script and is currently busy writing ' Kahaani 2 '. Sources reveal that since Ghosh is engrossed with his writing work, there is less chance of participating in any of the ' Kahaani ' remakes.

The production house has confirmed about making of ' Kahaani ' sequel. Viacom 18 has already finalised Vidya Balan as the heroine and Sujoy Ghosh as the director. Other details about the movie are yet to be disclosed.

In the sequel, story will move out of Kolkata and will take Vidya's character to a completely new setting.
