Sudhir Mishra’s Daas Dev gets postponed. The new release date is March 23rd!

A number of films got affected by the rescheduling of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Though the magnum opus got a green signal last month, it affected the release of many upcoming films. One such film is Sudhir Mishra’s directorial, Daas Dev. Mishra’s film was originally scheduled to come out in February itself but the director pushed his film to March because he wanted Padmaavat to get enough time to do a healthy business. But looks like the decision adversely affected Mishra’s film. After pushing his film from February, he decided to release it on 09th March, but that slot already has many more films releasing at the same time. This left Mishra with no other option than to postpone his film again. So the film got postponed for about three times and it will now release on 23rd March 2018.

Mishra pushed his film from 09th March because movies like Hate Story 4, Dil Juunglee, 3 Storeys and Baa Baa Black Sheep are also coming out on the same date. But he will still have to face a big clash on 23rd March as the slot is already taken by Rani Mukherji to release her comeback film, Hichki.

Well, looking at the number of Fridays and the total number of films we have in a single year, one can hardly get a solo release. So we don’t think this clash will be averted.
