    Subhash Ghai to come up with 'Khalnayak' remake

    The great filmmaker Subhash Ghai is geared up to create remake of 'Khalnayak', his own film in 1993. The story details and star cast are kept under wraps till now.

    The eminent filmmaker Subhash Ghai is on the verge of creating remake of his earlier award-winning musical thriller ' Khalnayak '. Subhash Ghai attested the news of this remake and mentioned that he desires to present the movie by applying it the shades of modern lifestyle.

    Ghai opened up to the media saying that the team is working on the project and is having few directors on board. He wishes to showcase the story in a contemporary manner, Ghai adds. The filmmaker revealed to soon make an official announcement of the ' Khalnayak ' remake. The next project by Subhash Ghai would either emerge as a remake or a sequel.

    The year 1993 saw the blockbuster film ' Khalnayak ' gaining a grand success. The movie was containing super stars like Madhuri Dixit , Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff . Subhash Ghai was the director and producer of ' Khalnayak ' in the year 1993.

    The original ' Khalnayak ' narrated the story of escaped criminal Ballu ( Sanjay Dutt ) and his capture by the Inspector Ram ( Jackie Shroff ) and Officer Ganga ( Madhuri Dixit ), who was the lady love of Inspector Ram.

    Yet, the cast and the story details of new ' Khalnayak ' are kept as a secret by the filmmaker.
