Starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role, the upcoming space odyssey film Chanda Mama Door Ke has been in the news for a long time now. The film was earlier scheduled to begin its shoot in mid-2017, but it got delayed for reasons best known to the makers. It was then said that the movie will mount floors by the end of the year. However, as things stand today, Chanda Mama Door Ke has been delayed yet again.

According to a source “After Sushant returned from NASA, he was told that the film would take a few more months of pre-production work. It was only legit that he gave his dates for Abhishek Kapoor for ‘ Kedarnath ’, who was set to start filming.”

A popular entertainment portal reports that the film might be facing delays due to some budgetary issues. “As of now, the film hasn’t been shelved, but since it is an expensive movie to make, it can’t start until the financial logistics are worked out. The actors have assigned their dates to different films, which were earlier stated for Chanda Mama Door Ke ,” the report on the portal says.
