    Neeraj Pandey Directed ' Special 26 ' may be remade in one of the regional language in future. Reportedly, the director is receiving calls from various film makers from down south to get the rights of the remake of the film. The director's debut venture ' A Wednesday! ' was remade as Unnaipol Oruvan in Tamil and as Eeenadu in Telugu. The director said that the remake rights are not in his hands and only the people over him could decide about giving the rights. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar clarified that it was not an intentional experiment. He told that he was not trying to experiment. He liked the subject of the movie and so he chose it. He accepted it to be one of his best films. He also shared that Mithun Chakraborty met him and praised the movie and that he also wanted to remake it in Bengali.
