    Sonu Sood as Sher Khan in 'Zanjeer Remake'

    After the announcement of ‘Zanjeer’ remake, there were many speculations as to who would play Inspector Vijay and Sher Khan in the flick.

    After the announcement of ' Zanjeer ' remake, there were many speculations as to who would play Inspector Vijay and Sher Khan in the flick. For the portrayal of Inspector Vijay's character, Ram Charan Teja had already been finalized.

    Initially, Sonu Sood was approached for the role of Sher Khan originally played by the legendary actor Pran Saab. Later on Sanjay Dutt and then Arjun Rampal were supposed to play the role. But due to some reason or the other, the role finally went back to the actor Sonu Sood .

    Zanjeer Remake is directed by Apoorva Lakhia . Apart from Ram Charan Teja as Inspector Vijay Khanna and Sonu Sood as Sher Khan, other actors to be seen in the flick include Prakash Raj as the antagonist Teja, Priyanka Chopra as the leading lady and Mahi Gill .
