    Sonam Kapoor Wants To Don The Director's Hat

    Actress Sonam Kapoor expresses her desire to direct films.

    Not many people know that gorgeous actress Sonam Kapoor has been trained in direction and writing. Sonam studied theatre and arts at the United World College of South-East Asia for her pre-university education. Also, she worked as an assistant director for three years with eminent film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali . The fashionista has a keen interest in direction and plans to take it up soon.

    In a recent media interaction, the actress stated that she will be directing one (film) very soon, maybe in a couple of years. She has also written scripts and has ideas, concepts ready. Also, she would love to cast actresses like Deepika Padukone , Alia Bhatt , Swara Bhaskar , Parineeti Chopra , Anushka Sharma in her films. Talking more on the subject, Sonam added that she likes genres including drama and romance. On the Bollywood front, the actress will be next seen opposite Salman Khan in the much awaited film ' Prem Ratan Dhan Payo '
