Sonam Kapoor to have special lunch with Governor of Victoria in Australia

For her fearless and fabulous performance in the film Neerja, Bollywood style icon Sonam Kapoor bagged the Best Actress award at the Indian Film Festival Melbourne (IFFM). Sonam earned praises for her role in the biopic of the brave air-hostess Neerja Bhanot, who lost her life while saving the lives of many others. While giving the thanksgiving speech at this event, Sonam spoke about the topic of women empowerment and gender issues.

Sonam Kapoor was invited as the special guest and she even judged a dance competition in this event. The actress was invited for a special lunch at the government house with the Governor of Victoria, Linda Dessau, who is the first woman to hold this office.

The film Neerja featuring Sonam Kapoor was also screened in this festival.
