    Sonam Kapoor starrer 'Khoobsurat' remake is slated to hit the screens on September 19.

    The 1980's romantic comedy ' Khubsoorat ' by Hrishikesh Mukherjee is soon coming up with its remake version and it is making rounds in B-Town. The remake of this classic has retained its original title and is co-produced by Anil Kapoor Film Company and Disney India.

    ' Khoobsurat ' remake features Sonam Kapoor , who will play the role of Mili, a lively beauty who brings a drastic change in the life of a royal family. Rekha played the role of Mili in the original film. The other star cast of the original included Dina Pathak , Rakesh Roshan and Ashok Kumar .

    Going by the latest news reports, the wholesome entertainer ' Khoobsurat ' will hit the screens on September 19. This remake is the directorial venture of Shashank Ghosh . The movie will star Kiron Kher , Ratna Pathak , Fawad Khan and Amir Raza Hussain.
