Sonam Kapoor says she would love to do the remake of ‘Guide’!

Remakes, sequels, and biopics are the new mantra for the Bollywood filmmakers, which are no doubt, loved by the masses. When a ton of remakes and sequels are already into the pipeline, style icon, Sonam Kapoor expressed her desire to remake the Dev Anand’s cult classic, ‘Guide’ (1965). Like many other stars, Sonam is also an admirer of the classics from 50’s and 60’s and when the talented actress was asked if should want to be part of any remake, she told a leading daily, ‘’I would love to do a Guide.’’

“Rosie from Guide is such a fantastic character. She’s strong, feminine, lovely — all at the same time. And Waheeda (Rehman) aunty looked beautiful and she was excellent in the film. It’s also one of my favourite classics of all times,’’ she added.

These days, Sonam is busy promoting her film, ‘Pad Man’, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte and is releasing on 25th January. Apart from ‘Pad Man’, she has her kitty full of movies lined up for release. In the month of June, she first has ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which is coming out on 1st June, and then she has a pivotal role in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dutt biopic, which is slated to release on 29th June.
