Albeit, it is true story that soon Bollywood will witness one more remake emerging in the town. It would be of the superhit comedy flick in 80's, ' Khubsoorat ', a classic film by Hrishikesh Mukherjee . But, a point to note is that the story of this 'Khoobsurat' remake version will be entirely different from the earlier one. The style icon of B-Town, Sonam Kapoor will be essaying the role of evergreen actress Rekha in this movie.

The female lead in the new ' Khoobsurat ' neither will go to the marital home of her sister, unlike the original one, nor is she shown as a college-going girl. As per a buzz, Rhea, Sonam Kapoor 's sister is doing storyline alterations. Rhea attested to this news saying that the modifications in the storyline are shown keeping in mind that we are living in the year 2013.

This remake of ' Khoobsurat ' is directed by Shashank Ghosh and produced by Anil Kapoor . The male lead of new ' Khoobsurat ' will be from a traditionally Rajasthani family. Sonam Kapoor will be playing the character of a physiotherapist and works with cricketers.

The movie is slated to release by August.
