Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor is currently on a career high! After the successful release Neerja for which she was awarded a special recognition by the National Film Awards, the lady has taken up some interesting projects. Recently, Sonam wrapped up her part in her upcoming film Veere Di Wedding in Phuket, Thailand. After which she flew home to Mumbai to shoot an ad film assignment just for a day. Now, currently, the actress is in the USA to shoot for an extensive schedule of R. Balki’s Padman starring Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte .

Reports suggest that Sonam will start shooting for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic film directed by Rajkumar Hirani immediately after she wraps up Padman. After which, she will look into her next with Shelly Chopra who is debuting as a director in Bollywood. The film will also stars Anil Kapoor and will mark the first father-daughter film collaboration.

Sonam Kapoor is delighted with the way things are moving in her life. She is not complaining about her packed work schedule. In a statement with the media, Sonam quoted: “This year has been very fulfilling. Every morning, I wake up and say, “Thank you, god, the universe and my parents for giving me all of this.”
