The actress who will be next seen in the title role in the upcoming film ' Akira ' has also been signed for another glorious project. Reportedly, the pretty lady is all set to essay the key role in an upcoming biopic on the life of Dawood Ibrahim's sister named Haseena.

The biopic is titled as 'Haeena - The Queen Of Mumbai' which is likely to go on floors next year. Sonakshi stated in a media interaction that she always wanted to be part of a biopic and this seems like the perfect one to start with. She further added that, it's a great script, a powerful role, a very intriguing story and an opportunity to play a character who is so opposite to her in real life. She is excited and is looking forward for the project.
