Sonakshi Sinha, Siddharth Malhotra starrer Ittefaq to have shorter runtime

For the first time, Sonakshi Sinha and Siddharth Malhotra will share the screen and they are teaming up for the upcoming film Ittefaq. The movie is said to be the remake of 1969 release Ittefaq. Although, the gist of the film will be the same, the premises will differ from the original. The script has been altered by the makers to increase the dose of entertainment to the viewers.

The lead actor Siddharth Malhotra revealed that the run time of the upcoming film Ittefaq will be shorter and this will work in favour of this thriller. It will be a quick entertainer, said the actor. The makers intend to make it a thrilling one with a run time of around two hours or less than that. Siddharth is excited to be the part of this film and he praised the script.

The 1969 release Ittqfaq was directed by Yash Chopra and featured Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Madan Puri in the lead role. It was said to be the remake of the 1965 Hollywood film Signpost to Murder.
