With election fever on its peak, the national capital, Delhi is all set to contest the Assembly poll elections on 4th of December,2013. Calculating an average of 40-60% of voting each year and considering the increasing number of youth voters, the commission now seeks help from tinsel town to touch the mark of 100% voting this year.
The election commission had already taken a few steps in the above direction and have successfully managed to nail down actress Soha Ali Khan, tele-queen Toral Rasputa (\'Balika Vadhu\' fame) and gen next cricketer Virat Kohli to promote voting through their campaign \"Dil Me Hai Dilli. Vote Karenge\".
As the actress unveiled the theme in factual recently, Soha was reportedly stating that she considers the right to vote as a luxury for which our forefathers fought and it should never be taken for granted. The actress further added that she would like to appeal all the youths to cast their vote on the election date, rather considering it like just another holiday.
Considering the commission\'s view on the above, a personnel stated that they want to ensure the voters about the voting system to be ethical, informed and unbiased through this campaign. They would also like to educate and inform the voters about election process and their respective candidates. This is what brings them to start off this campaign.
Now that Soha Ali Khan along with Virat and Toral head out to urge youths of the nation, only the elections on December 4 will bring out the result of this unique campaign for public appraisal. Way to go \'youngistan\' !
