    Smita Thackeray's son Rahul to helm biopic on Balasaheb Thackeray

    Smita Thackeray's son Rahul Thackeray will be directing the biopic on the life of Balasaheb Thackeray.

    In the season of biopic, one more biopic will be arriving soon. And it is the biopic of the legendary leader Balasaheb Thackeray. Smita Thackeray , the daughter-in-law of Balasaheb Thackeray announced that she will be producing a movie based on the life of her late father-in-law and the film is titled 'Saheb', reportedly.

    The further report stated that this biopic will be directed by Smita Thackeray 's son Rahul Thackeray. Rahul began his career as Rajkumar Hirani 's assistant at the time of ' PK '. Balasaheb Thackeray wished a big launch for his grandson and this wish of him seems to get fulfilled soon. The star cast of this biopic is yet to be finalized and the movie is under scripting process. The shooting of the film is expected to get started by the end of this year. Smita Thackeray revealed that the lead actor who will play Balasaheb on the screen must have a good voice, he should have an aura and should be able to do dialogue delivery in a powerful manner.

    The buzz stated that this biopic will be released on January 23, 2017, which is Balasaheb Thackeray's birth anniversary.
