Daily Soap Queen and director Ekta Kapoor have offered a lead role to handsome hunk Siddharth Malhotra for her new film ' Ek Villain '. This film will be a romantic thriller which will be directed by talented director from Bhatt Camp , Mohit Suri . The actor from the film ' Student of the Year ' will be seen playing the role of a new age angry young man going on a love mission.

Siddharth is considered as a young dashing hero who is able to create his own genre in the Bollywood. Ekta wanted such hero in her upcoming film. She wanted a guy who could carry a film on his shoulders. For Bollywood, Siddharth is considered as a popular actor amongst youngsters and desirable as well. Hence she selected Siddharth as a main lead in her film.

Mohit Suri , who is working outside the famous Bhatt Camp for the first time also agrees with Ekta. According to him, Siddharth is a good looking and rugged guy. The role is written just for Siddharth. In Mohit's films, music, romance and drama these things are always highlighted. The upcoming film is no exception to this. It contains drama, romance and a very good music says the director. The female lead will be finalized soon.

The Villian's shooting will commence in August and it will be released next year.
