Siddharth gets in the comedy genre

Multitalented actor Siddharth who played a serious kind of role in his previous film \' Rang De Basanti\' is now all set to change his angry young man serious image into a jolly and comedy one. The talented star will appear in his next Bollywood project \'Chashme Baddoor\'. The film is directed by the king of comedy and veteran director David Dhawan. The film is funny as a barrel of monkeys.

Siddharth who was busy in doing his south Indian films was recently seen playing a key role in Deepa Mehta\'s much talked film \'Midnight\'s Children\'. He played a totally different role of an antagonist in that film. Now Siddharth is all set to show his funny side on the silver screen. Through this film, he will be making a debut in the comedy genre.

The film is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and has Ali Zafar, Divyendu Sharma and Tapasee in the pivotal roles. The movie is an official remake of yesteryears hit \'Chashme Buddoor\' which starred Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval. The remake will be released on 5th April 2013 to tickle audiences\' funny bones.
