    Shruti Haasan to turn singer in 'Main Gabbar'

    The gorgeous Shruti Haasan will sing for herself in the upcoming film 'Main Gabbar'. The actress is a professionally trained singer.

    Gone are the days when actresses used to just captivate viewers with their acting on the screen. These days B-Town actresses tend to do much more than acting like they mesmerize audience with their singing. After Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt , the latest one to join the wagon is Shruti Haasan .

    Reportedly, Shruti Haasan will sing for herself in the forthcoming venture ' Gabbar Is Back '. Prior to this, the professionally trained singer Shruti has crooned in ' Tevar ' for Sonakshi Sinha and in the film ' Shamitabh ' that featured Shruti's sister Akshara Haasan . ' Gabbar Is Back ' is the Hindi remake of South movie 'Ramanna' and is production venture of Sanjay Leela Bhansali . Shruti is paired opposite Akshay Kumar in this flick that also stars Sonu Sood and Govind Namdeo in key roles. The movie hits the screens on May 1.
