The Southern beauty Shruti Haasan seems to be rolling on the success ladders. The recent releases of the actress, ' Ramaiya Vastavaiya ' and ' D-Day ' have made some space for the star-kid to enter her name in the 'A' list of Bollywood.

Haasan's brilliant performance in both the flicks have not only got her appreciation, but credibility too. As per the recent reports, Shruti has managed to bag a juicy role which was earlier offered to another Southern siren, Asin Thottumkal . News birdie had a word that Shruti has surpassed Asin in a race to grab a role in the upcoming flick 'Welcome Back' which is a sequel to the 2007 super hit comic-caper ' Welcome '.

However, earlier there were rumors of Sonakshi Sinha to fit the role but, prior work commitments made the actress opt out from the venture. Later, Asin became a choice, nevertheless back to back hits delivered by Shruti made it clear for the makers to play safe on her.

The upcoming sequel 'Welcome Back' will feature a unique pair of Shruti opposite the muscled hunk John Abraham . Well though Shruti has proven herself, it would still remain a challenge for her to give her best to upheld dignity of the franchise.
