Shruti Haasan has made Mumbai her permanent home as now she has to focus on her Bollywood career. Spending more time in Mumbai has made her father Kamal Haasan feel somewhat lonely back in their family house in Chennai. Both father and daughter are helpless about this, but taking some time out from her busy schedule Shruti took a short break.

In the precious break time, Shruti flew down to Chennai, where she had two important works to do. First of all, she had to receive an award and the second one was bit personnel. She paid surprise visit to her father Kamal Haasan 's office at Alwarpet. Her work commitment won't let her be with him on his birthday on November 7. Therefore, she planned for his pre-birthday celebration by dropping in to spend some quality time with him.
