Actress Shraddha Kapoor who was last seen in Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend is gearing up to surprise the fans with her unconventional look in her next. For Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai , Shraddha plays the title role and has completely transformed herself into the character. Filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia shared the snap and wrote: “Does she look like someone you want to mess with?” Certainly not! Shraddha essays the role of Haseena Parkar, sister of the famous gangster Dawood Ibrahim played by her real-life brother Siddhanth Kapoor. The lady managed to run Dawood’s 1000 crore underworld empire in Mumbai and she has around 88 cases registered against her, but was taken to the court only once in her life.

This mafia brother-sister Jodi has a lot to offer in the film. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia , the film will showcase Haseena’s life from the age of 17 to 43. It is surely going to be an iconic role of Shraddha’s career. Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai is set to release on 14 July, 2017.
