Young star Shraddha Kapoor is in the lime light for two of her upcoming films viz Half Girlfriend and Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai. The latest update claims that Shraddha Kapoor has been roped in to play the title role in ace badminton player Saina Nehwal’s biopic! Filmmaker Amole Gupte had been researching the story and now he is ready with the subject line.

Shraddha is excited about this untitled biopic and is looking forward to start prepping up to pull off the part. Saina Nehwal who is currently in China for the Badminton Asia Championships also said in a statement that she is pleased to learn that Shraddha has been on board to play her part. She further added that since the actor is a good friend it will be easier to teach her some moves!

Saina is a youth icon and has a following of her own! It will be interesting to see her journey on the big screen. The film is slated to go on floors later this year.
