What one will say after seeing a trailer of upcoming rom-com ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani '? Well, the answers would be, it's a fun-filled romance, if the trailer is so goody-goody, the shooting for the movie must be so enjoyable. Apparently, these answers do not suit the actual story. Director Ayan Mukherjee confesses that the team has to do an adventurous shoot in Shimla.

Some scenes of ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' were shot in picturesque locations in Himachal Pradesh and in Kashmir. Unfortunately, there was not a friendly weather, the team witnessed during the shoot in the month of January. The cast and crew had to manage the situation very carefully, the director said.

Especially, they had to confront some food hassles.

As told by a close source, due to problems faced while taking the food to that height, all the team had to made survival on eggs and instant noodles.

Similarly, the entire cast had to struggle through worst weather conditions. A source told it was bone-numbing cold and there were habitual power cuts in the hotel in which Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone stayed. Also the heaters were also unavailable.

Nevertheless, the director Ayan Mukherjee admitted that the adventure was worth doing. The director said, Manali was the place, where the first schedule of the film took place in. The focus was on selecting off-beat locations to show a trek scene in the movie. Jalori Pass seemed to be a crazy location and it was in the middle of nowhere, as director told. The team did a real trek to reach Jalori Pass by taking uphill and steep climb. But, that was something thrilling for the entire team, making it the best part of the shooting schedule.

Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin are the other actors featuring in the movie.

' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' will be releasing on May 31.
