Shahrukh Khan Wants to Play a Detective

This year Salman Khan\'s \'Ek Tha Tiger\' proved to be a blockbuster in which he played a detective. Its business reached close to INR 200 Crores. One more film of detective titled as \'Agent Vinod\' released this year of Saif Ali Khan which was a flop.

Irrespective of the box office result of detective films, Shah Rukh Khan wants to play a detective.

Recently in a live video chat, when a question was asked by one of his fans, he replied, \"I did play a detective in a comic way in Baadshah but that was more like a comic caper. I would love to play a detective, it would be interesting because we make very few films about thrillers and crime detection, so if I\'m able to make a character who is a crime detective it would be really nice. I hope somebody writes a role and offers it to me.\"

However, he is anxiously waiting for the release of his upcoming film \'Jab Tak Hai Jaan\' which is also Yash Chopra\'s last film. This film would release on 13th November this year.
