After completing the shooting in Karnataka, Goa and Tamilnadu, now the hot pair of \'Chennai Express\' movie - Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone - was shooting in Kerala. The duo spent almost five days in Kerala, as there was a song to be shot from their upcoming flick \'Chennai Express\'. Kerala was chosen as a backdrop for the song.
For four days, the cast and crew of \'Chennai Express\' was shooting in Munnar. The team shot for a single day in Alappuzha. Owing to the downpour, the team could not shoot on second day in Munnar, revealed a close source. But, the bright side of the situation was that, this break proved to be fruitful for the lead actors and director Rohit Shetty. The power trio spent time for catching up the ongoing IPL matches.
Apart from the rainfall, there were some more issues bothering the film unit in Munnar. The narrow roads did not permit to get fourteen shoot equipment trucks across. The place was much crowded due to the holiday season. Many fans approached the stars to click photos with them. Shah Rukh Khan happily posed for all of them. The actor even learned a few Malayalam words and made a point to taste the different Malayali dish every day.
