The makers of the upcoming film ' Shaandaar ' have recently released their first look. The film which is in news since its inception has received a flattering response from the audiences for its first trailer. The actors Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who are set to share the screen space together for the first time are being appreciated for their sparkling chemistry.

The recent update regarding the film is that, actor Shahid Kapoor was instrumental in getting Alia on board for the movie. According to a leading daily, Shahid told the young actress that as per his understanding, he has one of the finest roles he has come across for a female actor and would want Alia to do it. The actress read the script within two days and called him. She was crying as she was so moved by the storyline. The actor praised her calling her 'brave' while Alia thanked him saying he is an 'angel'.
