    Shahid Kapoor to star in 'Half Girlfriend'

    Shahid Kapoor will essay the lead role in Mohit Suri's forthcoming film 'Half Girlfriend'.

    Mohit Suri 's upcoming flick ' Half Girlfriend ' is in the news because of changes in its star cast. Sushant Singh Rajput was about to play the lead in it, however the things couldn't materialize and he walked out of the project. The fresh news update stated that Shahid Kapoor is going to play the lead role in ' Half Girlfriend '.

    Originally this movie was offered to Shahid Kapoor only but he was busy in shooting for ' Shaandaar ' at that time so the role went to Sushant. Now Sushant walking out of this project, the role again returned to Shahid. This film is based on Chetan Bhagat 's book with the same title.
