    The director Abhishek Chaubey is soon coming up with a film starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead. The film is titled ' Udta Punjab '. The director finally revealed the genre of this film as a thriller drama, as per the report.

    ' Udta Punjab ' will spotlight on youth and their mindset, as stated by Chaubey. Who will play the female lead in this flick is yet to decide, as Priyanka Chopra was slated to play the role. However, Parineeti Chopra was also approached by the makers to play the female lead in the film. No details have been revealed about this by the makers. The film is expected to hit the floors this year.

    ' Udta Punjab ' is the production venture of Phantom Productions .
