    Shahid Kapoor Roped in Rajkumar Santoshi's Film 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero'

    Even though Shahid Kapoor’s recent film ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ didn’t do well at the box office, it hasn’t affected his career too much because big filmmakers are still approaching him.

    Even though Shahid Kapoor 's recent film ' Teri Meri Kahaani ' didn't do well at the box office, it hasn't affected his career too much because big filmmakers are still approaching him.

    It was earlier reported that he was signed by Prabhu Deva for 'Namak' and now there is buzz that RajKumar Santoshi has signed him for his next film, ' Phata Poster Nikhla Hero '. Sources reveal that this is going to be a masala film which would entertain the audience.

    Ramesh S. Taurani who is producing the movie has confirmed that this movie would feature Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, and will be helmed by Santoshi.

    This film is said to be original and not remake of any South film. In it Shahid plays a boy who wants to become a superstar despite his mother's opposition.
