    Shahid Kapoor got 'high' on coffee for his role of rockstar in Udta Punjab

    Shahid Kapoor resorted to coffee for convincingly playing his role of a rockstar in Udta Punjab.

    Dashing hunk Shahid Kapoor likes experimenting with diverse looks for his movies. The actor will be seen in brand new look of a rockstar named Tommy Singh in upcoming film Udta Punjab . He will be sporting long hair, moustache and beard for the character. Shahid has gone an extra mile for playing the character of a rockstar who indulges in substance abuse.

    Being a teetotaller, it was difficult for Shahid to essay this role. He decided to resort to coffee rather than attempting something uncanny for his role.

    Udta Punjab also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh. The movie hits the screens on June 17.
