Shahid Kapoor confirmed that he is doing a film with Imtiaz Ali after ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’!

Who didn’t love the 2007's film ‘Jab We Met’? Shahid and Kareena Kapoor’s acting and Imtiaz Ali’s direction made the movie a blockbuster hit. Well, we have got some extremely exciting news for all the Shasha fans. A few months back, news rife in the B-town that Shahid will be collaborating with director Imtiaz Ali. Well, mark the words because now it is official and Shahid himself confirmed the news. Last night it was Zee Cine Awards and paparazzi got some really exciting news. Talking to a leading daily, Shahid made a statement, “We are doing something soon together and for that, I am really excited. I think Imtiaz is a phenomenally talented filmmaker.”

Shahid and Imtiaz first collaborated in 2007 and the film cemented their careers in the industry and now the duo will again be joining the forces after a huge gap of 11 years. Talking about Imtiaz, Shahid further said, “We made a film together towards the beginning of my career and the absolute beginning of his career. It’s something which people still talk about. Jab We Met has been a special film of my life and to work with the guy who gave me the role of Aditya Kashyap is going to be amazing. The subject that he has is very different from what we have done in the past. It’s very exciting and interesting so right after ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, I am going to do his film next.”
